A completely natural and highly effective way to attain optimum mental and physical health.

KINESIOLOGY. EXPLAINED.

Kinesiology is very efficient at detecting the root cause of problems, whether they manifest as physical or mental symptoms-discovering the cause gives you the opportunity to make the necessary adjustments to your diet and lifestyle to achieve your optimum level of health and wellbeing.
The combination of techniques used within kinesiology are very effective and considerably enhance and speed up the healing process, working on physical and emotional issues, helping you transform your health and your life, often amazingly quickly!

A SESSION. WHAT TO EXPECT.

During a Kinesiology session your therapist will begin by testing various muscles to assess different systems and organs within your body to find the causes of any imbalances. Another muscle test will then be carried out to find any nutrition, herbs or flower remedies that will help in the healing process - these will be incorporated into the balancing to significantly enhance their effect.
To help restore the imbalances found, your therapist will then go on to use a combination of techniques such as light touch, deep massage and gentle manipulation on specific points around the body and head.  These techniques will help relieve any existing symptoms and prevent more serious health problems from developing.
At the end of your session you are likely to feel relaxed and energised. You will be encouraged to work on yourself between sessions in order to retain the benefit of your treatments for longer. To enable this, your therapist will show you simple techniques, designed specific to your needs.

FOOD TESTING.

Wrong nutrition is a major factor of many health problems. Kinesiology detects which foods are good or harmful to each individual person. If it is advisable for a person to avoid a certain food, they will be offered practical advice on alternatives and emotional techniques, if required, to help them adhere to their new diet.  Many people are pleasantly surprised to find this much easier than they expect, and the improvement to their health far outweighs any effort required.
Because of today’s unnatural farming methods and people’s tendency to eat processed and microwaved foods, most people in the UK are deficient in certain nutrients, sometimes quite severely. During a treatment it is likely that a programme of supplements will be recommended to negate any deficiencies and support your recovery.
The Nutritional Reward method is a special technique used during treatments to greatly enhance the effect of supplements.

BOOK

An alternative medicine focused on myofascial release,
manual adjustments + other manipulations of the bones and muscle tissue.

OSTEOPATHY. EXPLAINED.

Osteopathy is considered an alternative medicine that focuses on myofascial release, manual adjustments, and other physical manipulations of the bones and muscle tissue. Focusing on musculoskeletal issues, it can be highly beneficial for arthritis, postural imbalances, joint/muscle strains and conditions such as sciatica and whiplash.  It is highly recommended as a recovery method after knee and hip operations.

Some osteopaths believe that the spine can influence other areas of the body, as well as immune health. Osteopaths explore health from the body’s perspective, rather than of the condition or disease’s perspective, therefore, you may receive better care for conditions that involve immune system imbalances or hormone imbalances.

ACUPUNCTURE

BOOK

An age old healing practice of traditional Chinese medicine
stimulating sensory nerves beneath the skin and muscles.

ACUPUNCTURE. EXPLAINED.

Traditional Chinese medicine explains that health is the result of a harmonious balance of the complementary extremes of “yin” and “yang” of the life force known as “qi,” pronounced “chi.” Illness is said to be the consequence of an imbalance of the forces.

Qi is said to flow through meridians, or pathways, in the human body. These meridiens and energy flows are accessible through 350 acupuncture points in the body.

Thin needles are inserted into these points with appropriate combinations to bring the energy flow back into proper balance.

There is no scientific proof that the meridians or acupuncture points exist, and it is hard to prove that they either do or do not, but numerous studies suggest that acupuncture works for some conditions.

Some experts have used neuroscience to explain acupuncture. Acupuncture points are seen as places where nerves, muscles, and connective tissue can be stimulated. The stimulation increases blood flow, while at the same time triggering the activity of the body’s natural painkillers.

REIKI

BOOK

An ancient form of energy healing originating from Japan.

REIKI. EXPLAINED.

The word “Reiki” means “mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign.” It comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. It has been practiced in Japan for the past 2,500 years, though, the most current form of reiki practiced today was developed in 1922 by Mikao Usui.

In the practice of Reiki it is understood that energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. And, in time, these energy blocks can cause illness.  Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Reiki practitioners believe that improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.
